Palynology
Leader of the IIES Palynology Research Area (2010 – currently).
I am a palynologist – biologist with more than 10 years of experience studying pollen and spores, in the last time, I am exploring the marine diatom signal.
201x-currently: PhD Student in Geology at the Universidad de Salamanca (Spain).
201x-currently: Researcher at Instituto de Investigaciones en Estratigrafía – IIES, in palynology and marine diatoms, and its application in palaeoecology and biostratigraphy.
M.Sc. in earth sciences, Universidad de Salamanca – Spain (201X).
B.Sc. in Biology, Universidad Industrial de Santander – Colombia (201X).

I am interested in the palynology of the Cenozoic from the north of South America, likewise, explore the signal of marine diatoms in Colombian basins. My job is to apply these microfossils in the biostratigraphy and palaeoecology applied. currently, I work in the palynology of the Colombian Caribbean.
